It is interesting how this particular chair manages to mess with the head of the potential buyer and keep his attention, even though the first impression may point in another direction.

The difference, however, is in the looks of the package this goodness comes in.

In this case, this particular chair doesn’t look as if it has too much to offer because it looks pretty much like any other office chair. But, if we give it the benefit of the doubt and throw in another look, we start to see the features that make it stand out.
Sufficiently padded cushions with a high level of ergonomics, padding on the armrests, chrome base, the weight limit of 250 lbs. It suddenly starts to look good.
It gets even better when you use the reclining option. The backrest falls to an extreme angle, and the leg support pillow extends from under the seat.
The backrest angle achieved by this reclining office chair is simply ludicrous.
Now, I know that this is a high-quality product, and even the pretty steep price suggests so, but to be honest, I don’t think that anyone would feel comfortable using this chair when it’s reclined all the way.
I honestly think that in that case, gravity will do its thing, and make you more intimate with the floor.

Neat, somewhat stylish, with a whiff of elegance. That’s how I would describe this particular reclining office chair. It could easily take place in an office or a company, which leans a bit more towards the conservative side.
It looks comfortable, with carefully designed padding and stitching. Nothing looks puffy or overdone, it just looks right. The cushion on the ottoman is at slanted at an angle, so that it offers maximum support and comfort for the legs.

Trying to find the word to describe it?
I would go with “Polarizing.” That means that you either love it or hate it, there’s no middle ground. There’s no question about it; this reclining office chair has no business in a serious company, or a bank, or any office that leaves the impression of “class.”
But, on the other side, it is funky and cool enough to try its luck in some startup company, or perhaps in a publishing house, that deals with automotive related content. Mind you; it’s not just “all show and no go.”
Standard adjustment options aside, there is also a possibility to adjust the height and the rotation of the armrests. When you put it in “recline” mode, the backrest drops and the leg support pillow extends from under the seat.
But when you put it in “Oh my God, the chair broke!” recline mode, the whole hell breaks loose!
The backrest falls flat, thus enabling a pretty much level surface which you can lay on because you surely won’t be able to sit or recline. I’m having doubts that anyone will be able to relax in this position, taking into consideration the whole stability issue.
It is adequately priced, especially considering what it has to offer. Luckily for the potential buyer, there are three color options to choose from: red, blue and yellow. The blue version is slightly more expensive, for no apparent reason.

This manufacturer surely took up a lot of space on our list, but their portfolio is quite large, so there’s a lot to choose from.
This particular reclining office chair bears the adverb “contemporary” in its name, but to be honest, it’s hard to see why. It doesn’t look contemporary, mostly because of the “second world war hospital bed” looks of the metal base. It’s appalling.
The seating cushions look very stuffy and comfortable, and the padding on the armrests surely increases the level of comfort. The backrest recline position can be locked using a tension knob, found on the right side.
The leather used to cover the cushions can be easily cleaned and maintained and is also eco-friendly. There are two color choices: brown and black.
The brown looks somewhat elegant, while the black looked a bit cheap and washed out.
This recliner is priced in the same ballpark with most of the other competitors, but honestly, the other ones are at least much prettier to look at and offer the same functionalities too. The choice is yours, of course.
